1. This policy is in full compliance with the provisions of Directive 2011/83/EU, Law
2251/1994, Ministerial Decision 316/2017, and any other applicable legislation.
2. Any user of this website who is a consumer as defined by the provisions of the above
legislation has a legal right of withdrawal, which must be exercised exclusively within
fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the product or the last product,
in the case of multiple products ordered by the consumer in a single order and
delivered separately.
3. The right of withdrawal must be exercised in writing by email to info@modernessentials.gr with the subject line "Declaration of withdrawal" which
must explicitly state the number and date of the order and attach the completed
Withdrawal Form available on the enterprise's website. The enterprise will send
confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal statement to the email address within a
reasonable period of time.
4. In the event of withdrawal, the enterprise shall refund the consumer the total amount
paid at the time of completing the order, including shipping costs (unless the
consumer has explicitly chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard
delivery method, e.g. express delivery, in which case the difference in cost will not be
refunded), using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction and
within a reasonable period of time from the receipt of the product to be returned.
5. The consumer must return the product for which they exercised their right of
withdrawal within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day they expressly stated that
they were exercising that right in accordance with clause no. (2) and (3) of this
document.
6. The costs of returning the product are borne exclusively by the consumer.
7. The consumer is liable for any reduction in the value of the returned product when
this is due to handling that is not necessary for determining its nature, characteristics,
and functioning.
8. There is no right of withdrawal in the case of a custom order (see relevant section of
the website) as in this case the product is manufactured according to the consumer's
specifications or is clearly personalized and therefore falls under the exceptions of
Article 3(c) of Law 2251/1994.
